Terms of Hire:

Content of a bin or bins from B.L. Waste Disposals remains the property of the customer until such time as the customer pays B.L. Waste Disposals the full amount charged. If after a reasonable time the customer hasn’t paid B.L. Waste Disposals the full amount charged, the customer agrees that B.L. Waste Disposals may empty the bin at the customer’s site, office or place of residence without further notice.

It is a basic condition of the terms that no asbestos based materials or other hazardous material will be placed in the skin bin provided to
a customer by B.L. Waste Disposals.

If at the time of collection of a skip bin from the customer’s site or when a skip bin is tipped out on B.L. Waste Disposals premises having been returned from the customer’s site the bin is found to contain any asbestos based materials or any other hazardous materials, then B.L. Waste Disposals will charge the customer for any and all costs of disposing the contaminated contents of the bin and for any remedial services B.L. Waste Disposals has to undertake at it’s premises which are attributable to having a bin returned by a customer which contains asbestos based materials and other hazardous material.

The customer will pay B.L. Waste Disposals on or prior to delivery
of a container unless otherwise arranged when ordering the bin.

In these Terms and Conditions, the following expression will, where the text admits, having the following meaning:

“Equipment” means the equipment described overleaf and all the containers used for the storage of waste material including stationary compaction units, stationary baling units, waste material loading device, tanks, tankers and such other on-site devices as may be specified on the face thereof.

“Customer” means the customer named overleaf. If the customer comprises more then one person, expression includes each of the jointly and severally..


Customer obligations:

1) The equipment provided by the contractor is for the storage and collection of non-hazardous waste materials.
2) Customer shall be responsible for the cleanliness and safe keeping of the equipment.
3) Customer shall not overload the equipment, nor use it for incineration purposes, and shall be responsible for any loss or damage.
4) Customer warrants that the bin will not contain any hazardous or toxic waste such as defined by applicable law or regulations of the Commonwealth and States and Territories of Australia and that no free flowing liquids or viscous materials shall be deposited by the customer into the equipment.
5) No mechanical means will be used to compact the contents being placed in the equipment.
6) On collection day, the contractor’s vehicle shall have access to the equipment. If the equipment is blocked to prohibit collection, customer will be notified and an additional attempt for collection shall be made by the contractor’s vehicle. Any further attempts made for collection will be classified “extra service” and so duly charged.


CHARGES AND PAYMENTS:
Payment shall be made by Customer to B.L. Waste Disposals on or prior to delivery via cash, cheque or credit card (Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard). Payment can be made to the driver at the time of delivery or by credit card over the phone.
